September 15, 2009Going to St. Petersburg
August 17, 2009Arrived at SFO yesterday, and flew to Chicago, first class on a 767. Very nice digs indeed. Then a short layover, catching a flight to London. Got on the plane, amazed at my personal “cubicle” in first class on a 777, only to be delayed 3 hours because of flight planning software issues…… Arrived in London, missed my connection to St. Petersburg and so now am re-routed to Frankfurt in a few hours. Been hanging out in the British Air lounge. Had breakfast (and lunch) here. Its now 5:05am PST but 105pm local time. Got a few hours sleep …. but yes, I am very sleeeeeeepy. Wont get to St. Petersburg now until 10:30pm. Travelling is SOOOO fun.
Heathrow airport is HUGE. Havent been here in a few years. Really nice, great places to east and shop. If I werent so tired, and had any money, I’d shop. Instead, i finished the movie “Marley and Me” that I rented from ITunes.
This was my incredible seat in First Class on the 777.
Getting ready for St. Petersburg
July 24, 2009My chorus, Pride of the Pacific, is getting ready to go to St. Petersberg in August. We will be 10 days, singing in some of the finest halls and teaching music to our Russian singing friends. Our brother chorus, Voices in Harmony will join us on the trip, along with our most favorite, talented Director, Dr. Greg Lyne (who is also the Artistic Director for the Russian Music Festival.)

August 7, 2008Just found this rather fun knitting community, www.ravelry.com which is still in beta and to which you need to get an invite to join. Knitting is a wintertime sport for me, but it looks interesting nonettheless.
Hello from Copperopolis, CA
August 4, 2008Hello everyone. Happy August. Its a warm summer day in Copperopolis, CA. I know, “where the heck is Copperopolis?” Check it out here. It is the home of a great REMOTE golf community called Saddle Creek Golf Resort. Some of us are lucky enough to live on the course. I live in the house you see in the header, on the 9th fairway. I have a pool in back that is a big “golf ball washer”.
